This topic is about "Can I be a Trainee of Smentertainment?".
Many people interest to be a trainee in a huge agency like SMENT, JYP or YG. And there is some answer for your question that can help you to reach your dream to be an Idol in that Agency/? *lol*
1) Im just enter 17 last
Aug 2,,am i old to enter the audition?
- No, the ideal age is from 14-18.. well as long as ur not many years over 20, u can still get in :)
2) my height is 153cm and i 51kg (hoho! Kinda short) are they gonna accept me?
- Height doesn't matter that much, if u only look good. They are going to put u on a diet if ur chubby anyways, but nothing's scary! If ur not willing to go on a diet to fulfill a dream, then i don't see the point in trying xD
3) if i send via email or post,are they will ask me to come to Seoul to do it again? (since i cant afford the ticket)
- If they are intrested, they will encourage u to come to Korea, and if they are very intrested in you, then they will invite u to private auditions where they pay ur ticket+hotel
4) im gonna enter highschool for next year,what gonna happen to my study if i enter?
- U change schools to Kent, the korean school for foreigners, and u can finish ur study there. Trainee life is pretty hard, so u have to work ur butt off if u want to finish school too :)
5) where do i live? Who gonna pay all of it?
- U live in a dorm with the other trainees, SM pays all ur expences. Everything from dermatologists, plastics to food and shelter. I've heard ur given allowance on about 30 US
6) how long do being trainee?
- Depends on how good u are, and if u fit their new projects. Its usually 2-7 yrs! Thats the positive with being young, u can train for a long time :)
7) if i debut,how do i going to school? Who gonna send and pick me? Pay?
- U probably won't have time for school if ur so lucky u debut before u finish school, but u can still finish school. U either get a private, or u go to the same school as before.
8) since im muslim are they gonna accept me? And im from Brunei
- U can try! SM only takes in koreans, and under some exceptions chinese and tawanese (Amber from Fx) It's an east-asian-only business, though they held globals in kazhakztan! Sorry..
9) im not very tall are they will give me any tips how get taller or what?
- No, ur probably finished growing. They will probably give u a LOT of training in sky high heels..
10) are they gonna teach me how to speak korean till fluent?
- Yup, its also a plus to talk fluent english !
11) when will the SM Audition hold after this?
- I'm sorry, i don't understand the question. They are holding weekly auditions in korea, and u can always send in ur auditiontape via email, or postal mail. Globals are held once a year, u have to look out for it urself via their webpage.
12) are they gonna pay all if i be trainee?
